Last week was quite hectic and looking back I didn't take time to stop to even write a blog post. So I thought it was time to get caught up. Well one of the reasons last week was so hectic was I worked six days. I have picked up Saturday hours to earn some extra capital as I have the long-term goal of buying some property and I want to have a healthy down payment. Aside from that, I had two Royals games this week. On Thursday, the Royals lost in a shoot out to the Charlotte Checkers. I believe this is the last time we'll see the Checkers as I believe they are moving to the AHL next season. Saturday night, Reading blanked Johnstown 4-0 with Andrew Sauer getting two great goals. This will also be the last time we'll be seeing Johnstown as they are moving to South Carolina. Although they'll still be in the ECHL, their name will change as the team will keep the name "Chiefs" in Johnstown since it is part of that city's heritage (the name came from the movie "Slap Shot"). Today (Sunday) I got a lot done since this is the only day I will have to be at home all week. I wrote the exam that I am giving at the University this coming Saturday. So since I have class this Saturday it means another six day work week. And I may end up working next Sunday for a half day as well since that week we'll be a bit short at work until my new employee starts. I think that is all for now! I hope you all have a terrific week! Jace |
